Grown in the hills of Yercaud and prepared with care on the estate.
ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
A South Indian filter coffee powder made the way the Shevaroys have always made it: 80% estate arabica and robusta, 20% roasted chicory, ground medium-fine for the traditional steel filter.
The beans come off our own slope at 4500 feet, shade-grown under silver oak and pepper vine, hand-picked between December and February, then wet-milled and sun-dried on the estate. We roast in small drums after your order lands and print the roast date on the pouch, so freshness is something you can read rather than take on trust.
In the tumbler it drinks thick and low in acid — cocoa, jaggery, a long finish that holds its shape against hot milk. Twenty grams in the filter, a hundred millilitres of decoction, and you have the kaapi that gets a Tamil morning moving.
Grown, roasted and packed by one family since 1956. FSSAI licensed, dispatched within 24 hours, lot number stamped on every pouch.
* Best used within 6 months. Transfer to an airtight container after opening.
